2022 has seen one of the hottest summers in recorded history across the globe, but the Atlantic Ocean has not experienced much hurricane activity. Scientists predicted that the hurricane season of 2022 would be active. However, after a few early tropical systems, we have seen very little activity for the last month and a half. This is quite normal for July and things could pick up going into the late summer and fall.
